Our Story

Daniel Photo_edited.jpg

Daniel’s passion for helping families has long been a part of his professional background, but it was in 2002 that he found a unique calling to educate the public and help preserve legacies through estate planning. For more than two decades, Daniel has developed an expertise in making the complex subject of estate planning very easy to digest through his educational workshops. He is enthusiastic about educating people about this important subject, helping to provide the necessary information so each client can decide what option will best suit their family’s needs. He often says in his workshops, “You can’t make good choices if you don’t know what choices you have.” He is committed to reducing the information gap that so many people have when it
comes to the subject of estate planning.

After more than 15 years in the field, he knew he could provide a better, more comprehensive and customer-focused experience for each client - so in 2018, Daniel brought on his son  Charles to bring the entire operation in house. Together, American Family Estate Planners have helped thousands of families in their pursuit of not just understanding estate planning but firmly establishing a plan and executing the documents necessary to protect their legacy and their families. We often say at our events, “It doesn’t matter what you want, it matters what you write.” And that truly encompasses the importance of having the right documents in place before you pass away. Our greatest reward is our clients’ peace of mind.
